Andy Warhol- Absolut Vodka

This is a piece named simply "Absolut Vodka" by Andy Warhol.
I don't think there's much to say about Andy Warhol that hasn't already been said. He's a pop-culture icon, and his pop art has been replicated time and time again the world over, his striking colours catch your eye and scream out from the humdrum settings of day to day life, a burst of colour into your day, this is what music would look like on paper. ultimate trend setter.

No Light, No Light, in your Bright Blue Eyes.

This post is dedicated to one of my utmost favourite artsits of the modern age, none other than the mighty Florence (and her machine).
I've chosen this specific picture as it was taken at Leeds Fest 2012, and I was in the crowd watching her, and when she hit those extreme notes, it was that strange feeling that occurs when 10s of thousands of eyes are fixated upon one idividual.

This is just a photo as taken by Gary Stafford.

Am I Nothing?

This is some fan artwork done in response to Noel Fieldings Luxury Comedy. I really liked the tv series as it is full of totally un-hinged, bizarre, random, surrealism.

I don't actually know who was the specific artist responsible for this, what i'm dubbing as a modern masterpiece

Lord knows, I'm a voodoo child.

Well I chose this because I feel that Jimi Hendrix is (or as it may be, was) one of the most talented guitar players to have ever walked the earth, and despite not being able to play the guitar myself I still find myself playing cut-throat riffs on my air guitar any time any of his music comes on.

Wall and Piece.

Well I've chosen this piece by banksy because I found it to be showing quite an apt view of modern day life and the stereotypical teenage mindset.

First Post- The post that hurts the most.

"I'll Put a move on you."
"You'll put a move on me? I've seen your moves, they're rubbish."
"I've got new moves."
"New moves? What did you eBay them? Get them in the first post this morning?"
"Aye, first post. The post that hurts the most."
